It is an immense privilege and honour for me to have been selected to be your Parliamentary Candidate at the next General Election.
Having been born, raised and educated in Warwick, I know first-hand what a truly remarkable part of the country this is. Whilst I was growing up here, I was incredibly lucky to have had a truly inspirational teacher who encouraged me to apply to the University of Oxford —this changed my life, and whilst at Oxford, I founded my first business from my student bedroom. This was an education-focussed social mobility business, which I later sold in 2013.
In 2013, I founded a technology business that is now the number one social mobility engine in the UK. The business uses AI and data to support nearly a million students connect with the world of work – I understand social mobility, business and technology and now employ hundreds of people in multiple countries.
I am not a career politician that talks, complains, and wishes things would change - I am a business-orientated entrepreneur who rolls up my sleeves and gets things done. It is this mentality that has helped me found and grow my business - it is this mentality that has helped me support hundreds of thousands of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds get ahead in life - and it is this mentality that I will use to make Warwick and Leamington an even better place to live and work. I am aware there is a lot of hard work and listening to do, and I will be spending the coming weeks and months out and about meeting and talking to the brilliant people of Warwick and Leamington.
